How to Repair a Chair

This chair is loose  at all joints and is broken at the seat

                           Label  and dissemble all parts

Step 1: Label all the individual parts, so they will re-assemble exactly the way they were, with blue painters tape Then dissemble all parts that will come apart. Next clean out all mortises and tenyons removing all old glue. Be careful not to change the size or chair parts; assembly will be a problem and chair won' be square.
